Evoke 1923: Formally The Bistro At Marshdale, this old home features a working fireplace and one of the best menus in all of Colorado. Exquisitely prepared meals and a fabulous wine selection, this has “date-night” written all over it.

Willow Creek: Another intimate date-night spot that overlooks Evergreen lake. Amazing in the summers, it’s family-owned and features farm-to-table meals and a fancy drink menu.
In Idaho Springs
MTN Prime: One of the best steaks around and amazing seafood. Open for brunch, lunch and dinner.
In Morrison
The Fort: A historical restaurants that opened in the 1960s, it’s on the national register of historic places, serves buffalo and other mountain delicacies and is an overall unique experience.

Oyama Sushi and Ramen - Don’t let the strip mall location fool you: Great sushi, noodles and everything in between
In Genesee
Guido’s PIzza: NY style pizza with amazing wings, apps and drinks. Another random location for a restaurant but don’t miss it (and check out the bison as you exit the highway)

Snowpack Taproom and Pizzeria in Conifer: A huge back patio where they play sand volleyball and have live music where kids can run around. Great pizzas for kids and adults and plenty of other food with a large, rotating beer selection
Beau Jo’s mountain pizza in Idaho Springs. Good kids menu as well as famous mountain pizza. Best on the way home after a day of skiing
Blackbird Cafe in Kittredge: Mountain Brunch & Lunch on the creek where kids can wander and play in water (seasonally, of course).
Genesee Pub and BBQ: Great bbq and apps for the whole family as well as a huge back patio where kids can play.
