What Morrison is known for: A small mountain town with historic dinasour discoveries. and the world-famous Red Rocks Amphitheater. Not many neighborhoods in Morrison to live in (though that is growing, particularly around C-470) but it’s close to everything in town and up the mountains.
What to do in Morrison: Well, go to a concert at the historic Red Rocks Amphitheater, of course. Lots of hiking around the amphitheater, as well. Cute little downtown with good restaurants. Walk through like a giant at Tiny Town (great for kids!). Camp, fish or paddle board at Bear Creek Lake Park. Visit the Morrison Natural History Museum. Morrison is part of the Lariat Loop, a scenic and historic byway throught Evergreen, Golden and Morrison.
